What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a low-tech, high-touch form of healthcare, focused on improving overall function and allowing your body to heal itself without the use of drugs or surgery.
How many visits will it take to feel better?
Each condition heals differently, but most patients will notice significant improvements in just one week. Dr. Conrad will be happy to answer questions about your specific case.
Will treatments be painful?
In most cases treatments are gentle and comfortable. Dr. Conrad will be in an open dialogue with you so that treatments can be tailored to your specific needs.
What conditions can be treated?
Chiropractic care focuses on mechanical issues of the muscles, nerves and joints. Our office handles cases of stiffness, soreness, aches and pains, numbness and tingling and fatigue associated with improper body mechanics.
Who should come for Chiropractic care?
Our office treats patients ranging from infants to the elderly, from those with injuries to those who are simply interested in improving overall health.
Is there an appointment cancellation policy?
Please be advised that there is a fee of $20 for all missed appointments.
Our office appreciates that unexpected events happen and appointments may need to be cancelled or rescheduled. We ask that you give our office notice of any changes to your appointment time 24 hours prior to your visit. This policy is in place to allow Dr. Conrad and his staff maximum availability for all patients.
Each patient will be given a courtesy reminder of policy on their first missed office visit. Every subsequent missed visit will incur a $20 fee.
Three missed appointments may also result in your dismissal from the practice for excessive missed appointments.
Be advised, any fees accrued due to missed appointments are not covered by insurance and are the sole responsibility of the patient.
You may appeal a missed appointment fee by contacting the business manager, Francine Erb at 716-882-8800. Appeals will be reviewed by Dr. Conrad and Francine Erb with a formal decision being sent, in writing.
Does your office complete disability forms?
Yes. Please be advised that there is a fee of $20 for all supplemental paperwork completed by our office on behalf of you, the patient. This fee includes, but is not limited to forms for Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Social Security Disability, work restriction recommendations, and temporary disability forms required by your employer.
